Bernie,

Thanks for the complements, and I would be more than happy to make the dead-head plug for you. It only takes 10 minutes for me to make one, and there's really not much to it. I merely cut all but a small segment off the back end of a 1/4-inch plug with a hacksaw, leaving just enough to grasp the plug for easy removal. The center of the plug is filled with hot-melt glue, which prevents the top from inadvertently coming loose and becoming stuck inside the jack during removal. It also acts as an insulator to prevent the tip and shield from shorting together.

Just PM or email me your address and I'll get one in the mail to you tomorrow morning.

Because the internal speakers throw off my sense of volume to the audience. If I was in a band, sending a signal out to a sound man, then fine, they would act as a monitor.

I would like to see arrangers have a separate audio in that ONLY goes to the internal speakers but not routed to final outs. That way, you can use the speakers as a monitor system, if you have a partner, or tracks, etc..

Many of them have external ins... but there's no way to stop it being fed to the outs. A switch that disconnects the ins from the outs, but still feeds it to the speakers would be cool.

Everybody has a throw a way headphones..either the 1'4" adapter or cut the 1/4" end from the headphones..
