Hi Bernie, that's probably the only solution. I would have to figure out a way to keep the four registrations together in correct order then that would work. Right now my registrations are in a bit of random order... some have numbers in front of them and some do not??? A simple alphabetical order would work for what you describe. I did this with some songs when I was using the MS40 to change tempo but on the ms40 I could set up voices in programs and step through them up and down with foot pedals. Then you could use that same sequence of programed voices with many registrations. I don't think that's possible with Audya but haven't figured out how to set up my own program choices on the Audya anyway. Several times here on the forum there have been tips and instructions on "programs" but so far they all make no sense... very difficult machine to learn.

Gruhs,

This is true for all AUDYA products ... difference with the AJAMSONIC is ... it's been done for you!

* Select your style.
* Press STYLE MODE
* Press MODE 2/2 (User1/6)
* Press F1 (Arr A) and select a voice for it).
* Repeat for F2-F4 (Arr B -Arr D).
* Test
* Make sure "STYLE" F5 = On and "Global" F10 = On
* Exit to default screen.
* Press STYLE VIEW
* Press SAVE and SAVE (User 5/10) to save setting within style!

Thanks,

AJ

This is correct.. I´m using it in some few registrations,and not saving in styles, but in
Reg.,then I have the possibility to use the style in another reg.,with other voices – or without - .The only disadvantage is that the voice in the new choosen variation can only be played from the 2. bit.- but I can live with that..
To be quit shure,before writing this,I made a test,and found out, that I can no longer
change the voice cat.. If I choose a voice cat. - let´s say Sax - in var.A,it is no longer possible to choose another voice cat. In B-C-D but only another Sax type….
It seems that this bug has arrived with the OS5,0..

Lyker, please explain "the voice in the new chosen variation can only be played from the 2. bit."

AJ, thanks for spelling out the steps to use :-) Can't wait to try this!

I understand your confusion - the word "bit" should be changed to "beat"
I think that will make sense…

Had an opportunity to try AJ's procedure this morning and low & behold it worked :-). When I originally asked the question I didn't really think it would be possible. I have a bunch of registrations already so three of these is what I chose from to try . I loaded the desired registration then turned off the registration button (lite) and followed the steps from there. I didn't save to style but rather chose to save to the same original registration that I started with... works perfectly. I have the Audya set to play a break/arpeggio whenever I change arrangements (like from A to D for example) and the new lead (right hand) voice doesn't start until that break is done so a little timing practice is needed to make it seamless but it works great. Thanks AJ for spelling out the steps. Wouldn't it be great if every feature available on the Audya was spelled out in understandable steps like this one? I for one don't think many of the features are "discoverable" by trial and error or accident.

Great news gruhs

I am still marveling every week about something on the Audya I didn't know. That's a good one.

To be fair to AJ, I guess this was covered in his tutorial vid I bought with the upgrade, but there are so many features, I probably overlooked it. It just shows me I have to go back and review.

Sounds like a good learning tool Bernie, maybe I'll look into getting that disc. I bought one off ebay from a someone else a couple years ago but it would only play in vcr and not in my computer... not very good that way. Just watching like a movie doesn't give enough time to grasp all the details, can't pause to study or print out anything.

gruhs,

This DVD tutorial and manual for the AUDYA series is a 3+hrs DVD set which is divided into chapters you can selected on either your DVD player or computer. You can pause wherever you want, rewind and play again at your own speed until you understand the topic at hand.

It's a MUST for every AUDYA user as nearlly all features and functions are laid out, broken down and discused as the point above ... ask those on this forum and others who already have their copies.

You can get more information at www.AjamSonic.com.

Thanks,
