How big of a usb drive can be pluged into my Audya 5. I have a 500 GB portable usb hard drive with thousands of Karaoke files loaded onto it. Will audya accept it , and will it search out the songs on the drive. I just don't want to screw anything up. This is a first type of keyboard with a player , I'm not too up on this typy of stuff and not to sure of how this stuff even works. I normally would just start pushing buttons but not too sure if I should with this one. A little input needed.and appreciated.

I thought someone would , alot of experienced people useing arrangers and some are digging deep into what they can do. Maybe I'll call Frank, he may have some insight on it. I was just tryin to use some karaoke files a friend gave me and didn't want to start doing something on my Audya that I didn't know much about. The manual don't give much info. It would be a nice way to use the files but it really don't matter that much cause I got my laptop set up for that stuff, so back to jammin.

Yes, you can access the contents of a 500GB USB external storage media on the AUDYA ... but the storage space size is propotional to the access time!

Thanks for the input AJ and Frank. I won't worry with that. I'll just use the lap-top for Karaoke and the Audya five for jammin. And thanks to you Frank for Quick delievery of the Audya. I love it. Took out life ins. on it.
