Come and experience a Music Station you will need to see and hear to believe.

More demos are constantly being added so check them out periodically and please realize that these were recorded in one take so kindly excuse some 'errors'.

Thanks for your helpful suggestions.

Thanks AJ

I also put this on the same post at the Technics forum.

Just about any late model keyboard has excellent voicing today. I can't really tell a lot of difference with my old ears. There is no doubt that many of the newer voices are better than my KN7000 can do, but not really better enough to make me want to use a less friendly operating system. When someone designs a keyboard with something similar to the Panel Memories of the KN's I will certainly take notice. I like lots of registration changes in my music and most keyboards force you to poke at buttons while playing to make those changes. Technics lets me use up to 24 registration changes in the same song setup with a simple touch of a foot switch.

Bob, there are actually two ways to do this on PA3X.
You can use the Songbook, create a Custom List, if you wish, then assign Songbook Next to a foot switch.
Also you can do the same thing with a Performance Bank, just use the foot switch to call up Performance Up or Down.

Thanks Don. It's been quite a while since I sold the PA3X. I was never able to get a voicing change in the middle of a measure with anything but a STS change or a manual voicing change. Songbook and Performance changes seemed to be delayed for me. I guess I still want to play like the old organs with pistons that worked instantly like the Technics Panel Memories do. My Roland Combo organ works that way but the little Roland BK-5 is more like the Korg stuff with voicing changes at the start of the next measure.

I thought it was selectable on the PA3x as to whether it changes instantly or at the start of the next measure. I'll have to check it out. I don't ask it to do that, so not that familiar with it.

That would be great, Don. I asked both here and on the PA3 Korg forum if there was a way to get instant response and got no reply. If I could get instant response from Songbook changes, I would give the PA600 a second look.
