When you read the pen instruction it says, and these are the exact words " select the file "00KTNinstall00" and press ENTER.

Normally you would press enter so a blue dot appears to the left of the file you want to manipulate, this is not so you, merely press enter when the file is highlighted with a full blue bar.

Sure you young ones will sail through it, not like me.

Good luck loading.

Tony

And yes yes yes yes , you MUST not load any other files on the Audya other than the AUDYA41B.MEM files, the real loading is done directly from the stick, read the instruction very very slowly.

Robbo,

It’s brilliant, it’s how the KB should have been when it was released a year and a bit back, the styles and drums are show stopping, the voices too. I have no doubt that people will find things wrong with it and off we go waiting for the next OS, see what the competition have to offer now.

That's great news Tony, can't wait for mine to arrive I think the plane's been hijacked on the way to Aus.

Can you tell me in regard to the Intro's and Endings, how does one adjust the volumes for those? Where do I need to navigate to in Audya to adjust those parameters,??

Thanks mate

Robbo,

I watch your customs on TV they made a few films and from what I have seen you are not likely to get anything bigger into Aus that you could hide in your pocket, the pen drive might come but no KBs.

Robbo,

I have been very busy this weekend with work and not had chance to sit down for a while on the KB with the new sounds and styles, Robbo you won't be disappointed, the styles are brilliant and the new sounds, I think this will take some beating now. My KB is in a small room and I don’t get the best out of it, but proper surrounding this is some KB.I hope you get you pen soon. When I heard Robert Messer in Oldham doing his demo it sounded fantastic, I think it sounds even better now.

Good Luck Tony

Tony (and others).

Generally when selecting any file within any storage media or the Hard Drive, the blue dot next to the file appears only after you go into the DISK MENU [(U5/10) tab should have been pressed]. This blue dot means you have selected this file and are preparing to carry out an operation (F1-F5) such as COPY, DELETE, MOVE ... etc.

Simply highlighting a file and pressing ENTER loads/plays the file (depending on what file this is).

With regards to the USB pen drive, the only file you are COPYING (pressing DISK MENU, highlighting and pressing ENTER to select [blue dot appears next to file], and then F1 to COPY) is the "Audya41b.mem" file. This file contains 'instructions' to automatically COPY the new files from the USB pen drive into the associated folders within the Hard Drive in the next operation.

The only file you are LOADING (selecting and pressing ENTER to load/execute without going into the DISK MENU screen where you have the COPY, DELETE, MOVE .. etc operations) is the first file "00KTNinstall00" in the USB pen drive and this is done ONLY after having copied the file above!

I have posted new instructions on how to install ... in English ... here
http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum22/HTML/001521.html

Thanks,

AJ
