You obviously don't understand it, or what YouTube is about.

BTW if you do a search of SZ you will find many other box opening videos, including Yamaha Tyros keyboards.

Tip: Its no different to showing your mates your new phone down the pub.

Tony, I feel your pain, but you must understand that unboxing a keyboard (yes, even a Korg) is an extremely exciting and deeply emotional experience for some people. wink

Personally, I think playing the darn thing is a bit more rewarding, but, since the instrument in this video is a Korg, perhaps the excitement starts and ends with the unboxing?

Just kidding guys...

We are the last to have both the Old & New technology in our lives....once we're gone it will be no more for anyone to enjoy....in a way it's so sad...
I'd be happy with the old ways for sure.

We have just reached the edge of technology. In a few years people will laugh at our primitive computers and gadgets!

Exactly.....that's the sad part Don.....
fortunately we won't be here to see it....I would of rather had the old ways in my ENTIRE life without much change.
Only live music, a slower pace, more family values & traditions, etc,.
Now I'm sad, frown ....gonna go watch some black & white movies tonight to cheer up. wink

Yea I too never understood the point of 'box opening' videos.
It may be exciting for the person opening the box, but to me it's like watching paint dry...not that interesting.
But... to each his own as they say.

My wife keeps asking me if we can move to Mayberry R.F.D. I'm all for it, as long as Barney has retired from the Sheriff's office, and Aunt Bee moves in to do the cooking....

Donny,

All I will say is this, anyone can UNBOX a Korg, playing it is another thing, Nuff said!

Anyway Donny, who unboxed yours, and where is the video, we can't get one of you playing it, pack it back up and unbox it again, lets have some more pain..., don't tell me you have thrown the box away you will need it next week when it goes on ebay... rotf2

Hey and loosen up Diki people will start taking you seriously, we want to hear new arrangers played not just looked at and then we can really go to town on them... dance2

I just timed the start-up of my Pa600 - 1 minute, 12 seconds ... it might take a little longer once I have all 'MY stuff' loaded in ... I guess in our world of instant gratification, that's a long time ... I thought so when I first powered it up at Frank's place and commented on it ...but as Frank said, how often do we EVER need 'instant on'?!?
