For anyone interested some of the Pa3x internal styles work fine without tweaking on the Pa50sd. Some of them need do indeed need editing.

I own the Korg MicroArrnager which has the same OS as the PA50. Although the PA3X styles will load they do not play when called up on the KMA. When I call up a style it gives an error message indicating the style did not load.

Hello everyone:

One of the reason many PA3X / PA2X series do not work in previous PA series (PA80/60/50/50SD/MicroArranger) is simple, the most resent models have styles using the new "Guitar Mode" and many voices like DNC and others not found on the older models.
You always can load styles from Older to new models, but from New models to older....they are not compatible, only if you use software like Style Works Universal, and even with it, you still have to do some editing. computer
