Has anyone ever had a Technics KN 7000 that suddenly has reversed the Technics and Midi functions .
It stays now in Midi mode and wants to play everything recorded at a speed of 300
Have done the full Factory settings as well as initialising
The original Initial data disk when loaded states Midi mode so doesn't do its job of reinstating the factory settings.
The fingered mode is totally not available and playing the K7 it discordes .

Appreciate any comments of anyone that has had a repair for such a sad problem

If I am able to purchase a new Flash memory is there anything thats needs to be done to re-program the new flash memory

Only guessing that, that might be the effecter part

Thanks for your suggestion
Presumably you haven't see the topic called Naughty KN7000 on the SZ Technics forum.
There has been over 3500 views in about 2 months

Unfortunately no one in the 34 replies has ever experienced our problem.

However the suggestion has been to try replacing the Flash memory
seeing there is no one that has has this sort of problem in our area it seems to be a long shot
I did put it on the General site to try and attract someone that may have moved away from Technics that has had our type of problem.

At the moment it can be used as a straight piano etc. BUT absolutely no good with a rhythm and you can't at all use the split keyboard with the fingered split.

This comment on the General site may even attract or jog someones memory.
