Hi. Might anyone br able to help me ? I'm having trouble loading my multi samples into Kontact version 1 sampler. I have Rhodes multi samples and some good double double bass multi samples. I have followed the manual instructions but it's not working.
I would very much appreciate some helpful advice.

No idea how to help you. But, might you tell me where you obtained the double bass samples? Do they include any slaps and slides or varios other playing techniques?

You might want to try contacting Frank L Rosenthal over at the General Arranger forum. I believe he uses Kontakt as his main sampling tool and I think he knows the program well.

Can't help huh..damn. My double bass multi samples were included in my 2 cd set from Loopasonic UK about $200 aus. They're not bad, but if you are willing to pay twice that amount there is a beautiful double bass sample CD set available from East West Samples. Their site is on the net. This sample set is magnificent, offering every possible string sound and playing technique / nuance you would ever need. There is another really excellent sample CD entititled Larry Seyers acoustic string bass - site also on the net. Abasolutely awsome Jazz acoustic string bass multi samples. This sample CD is a bit cheaper I think. Also If you're prepared to hunt on the net for a good while you will find some good free single shot samples. If
