I don't think this is OT.
Now you can finally get the correct lyrics input into your midi and/or txt files on your boards for the song "With a Little Help From My Friends".
Of course, you'll have to read the captions.

Ha-ha...Joe Cocker is one of a kind, and I loved those days, and all that stuff.
Thanks for posting that OldNewb and I hope you don't mind me adding these videos to your thread. Over the years he's changed (a little)..haven't we all?

Larry, I do not mind in the least, and I appreciate both of these videos.
I hoped to give a smile or two with my post and you are just continuing with that.
Thank you and I'm glad you got a kick out of it.

Saw Joe C. about 20 years ago at the then Garden State Arts Center (I still call it that). He came on after the Neville Brothers who were the headliner, and were terrific. Joe came on and was his usual self, but his bass player was so loud (we had 3rd row seats) that it reverberated in my chest. There didn't seem to be a melody, just Joe screeching and the bass. We had to leave because it physically hurt. I think it was so loud it screwed with my heartbeat.

I saw Joe a good while back when he was touring with Stevie Ray Vaughn. Story goes the took turns opening for each show. Joe opened and with about 11 piecs and a long string of hits tore the place up. Stevie comes on next with his excellent four piece group and after the second or third 20 minute guitar solo we left. Just a letdown after Joe. It was a short time after that Stevie was gone in a plane crash. What a shame. I love his stuff.
