Just curious... but such a high profile gig, and you don't haul out the big guns? The G70, the Mediastation, etc.?

3-4,000 in the audience, and you pull out the 'convenience' rigs?

Presumably, you didn't set up PA or monitors. Plenty of extra time to dolly in the behemoths!

Don't see why asking about Fran's decision to use his less than best rig is 'negative'...

Maybe there's a good reason. How about letting Fran decide? Pretty sure he doesn't need you 'defending' him!

Diki, I had to go with the lightest gear...We had six gigs in three days , at 4 different locations...

The Beach party with the Brooklyn Bridge , was a nightmare to set up..We had to park in Wildwood Convention Hall lot...cross over a 6 lane Boardwalk and tread thru the sand to reach the mobile stage on the beach...Brooklyn Bridge had to do the same..The basic sound system was already in place....This same day we had a double at another shore point...

Time between acts, was limited and the fastest set up was a plus at Fox Park (The big show in WW)..and again a double at another location...

The BK5 was a life saver (energy wise)....

Maybe I should have hauled the Media Station...and get some publicity for Dom smile
