Yep...he used to be a happy Yamaha horse, but, since being hired by Lointracs, he got really depressed...hence the long face.

The horse was given the choice of carrying those speakers or a G70.

None so bitter as those gullible enough to buy an MS in the first place despite numerous and constant warnings from many of us here, only to find out the bitter truth for themselves too late! violin

I' m absolutely satisfied with my MS, I never expected using it as an arranger though, actually it is my "master computer" controlling all my keyboards and arrangers. I bet most arrangers sales are for home or studio purposes. "Gigging" is almost unknown in my country, I don't even think there is a word in spanish for that activity, I learnt that word in this forum.
Seriuosly, in my case I keep thinking how to build a huge steel cabinet to hold my set up and keep my gear safe in case of a robbery at home. My instruments are the most valuable stuff at home and I wish they were heavier than my piano or organ.
That's my story guys, the world is wide...

"I' m absolutely satisfied with my MS"

And so am I..as a VST/sample player..the best Piano and organ are on board......and the Media player has all the goodies...

The arranger was never important to me on the MS (although it can work fine)....The way I use arranger functions are a bit different than most folks...I turn things off....less is better...

Two happy chaps in all of America with a MS each and two not so happy chaps in the UK trying to get rid of their MSs, alas they have no takers. cry

BTW Victor, what made you buy the MS in the first place, where did you hear it and where did you try it.

Tony, I was complaining in this forum about the high price of arrangers in my country and asking about Vst and computers as a different option. Domenic contacted me privately and offered me a MS available in my country in the hands of a former software developer of Lionstracs working here. He asked for $1000 euros and actually gave me 2 units, the second one not working, only for spare parts (though I think I could fix it with the help of a technician). I was tempted because I also needed a good keybed like the fatar keys to improve my homemade organ (see my avatar). So I finally tried it at.... home! However Dom told me I could return them if I regreted. It was kind of a headache and dissapointing too at first, I pretended a "ready to play" instrument and it was of a different kind computer based instrument. Later I separated the main panel and the keys and it suited perfectly well to make my "organ" allowing me to place my Psr s900 on top and behind the Ms panel.
I would not recomend this instrument to anyone in this forum, it is more like a workstation than anything else and very expensive considering the real price.
I just wanted to notice here I like it very much and want it even heavier smile , considering the mocking intention of this post.

Greetings

PS. TOTL arranger prices in Argentina:
Korg Pa3X: Us$ 5,700
Tyros 4: not available
Tyros 3: Us$ 8,500 (only one unit nobody is going to buy)
Ketron or other brands: nonexistent

Vargo thanks for the honesty reply, do you have any demos of the MS there are few about the two people in the USA and the two in the UK have never posted any demos.

Tony I uploaded many videos using the MS in my Youtube page (check the link in my profile) It won't be of interest to you because I use it as a VST player simultaneously with the other instruments. You already know the sound quality of VST or Giga sounds.
