Most recent completed eBay auctions for a USED T4 are $3600-$3800 in this economy people are trying to watch their pennies....

I believe DNJ comments are the real world. I'm not trying to be a wise guy here but I bought a new one in a sealed box for about what the starting bid is. Cases are a dime a dozen, gotta believe anyone in the market for a T4 already has a case.

You can get a new one for way less than the starting price.

Look, I am in market looking for T4, but I would never pay such money to somebody with 9 feedbacks. Not to mention that the ebay listing shows a generic picture from the web.
All the red flags are there and the price isn't even good to begin with.
I think you will have better luck in your local classifieds where people can do the transaction in person. But the correct price should be $3500 regardless.

Guys, I just want to tell you something: Like I said, i'm selling this for my friend, and thats the price he wants, (since he paid quite a hefty price when he bought it).

Me personally I wouldn't sell (or buy) for that amount either.
Just doing a favor and listing.

I personally saw the keyboard and it is literally like new.

Please, there is no need to bash me here. All i'm doing is trying to help someone.
Thats what friends are for aren't they?

And about the feedback, what, you expect me not to sell anything simply because i dont sit all day on ebay buying/selling things?!

It is not bashing, it is a matter of fact. You simply can't grab a generic picture from web, high price, have low score and then expect to sell it. It would be very rare to sell anything of high price this way. I honestly think the craiglist or like that is much better option where people can be sure the item exist by actually go in person. This is honest opinion, not bashing.
I want to buy used Tyros 4 for months but I would never ever do it without seeing the item in person.
It is a good advice, saves you lot of time posting ebay ads.

Last month, I sold a Tyros 4 to match a price which was cheaper for a new, under warranty unit, versus the eBay auction posted in this thread.
