Hy guys.
I've put a complete backup from my brand new Audya 5 Hard disc to *******.
If someone have a problems with missing or corupted files, this is the solution.
I've had big problems after USB cable just pulled out.
I've searched for download but have not found something like this
Now I got brand new HDD from Ketron Germany.

May I make this public,is this allowed ?

contains hidden files and upgrade Pen Drives?

I will need to check with Ketron's legal department, but I believe you are breaking copyright law by placing the content online.

You are licensed to use the data on the hard drive in your own music production, but publishing the hard drive content is like placing a ghost image of your windows 7 computer online - Microsoft would be on you like a ton of bricks.

This is something Ketron should have downloadable at the official website.
Specially if there are no CD, DVD or any restore options enclosed in the box.

When you buy a new PC can you download a ghost image of the hard drive from the sellers website? Just as with a computer, restore disks are available on request from your distributor or you are free to make a back up yourself.

Making the contents of your computer hard drive available for download is illegal - there is no getting around it. And I would say the same goes for The Audya hard drive.

Ok I have no problem with this but..
Windows ghost image can use everyone who has pc without os and this is illegal
You can buy PC without OS too..but not Audya without HDD

Audya backup can use only Audya user.

when you buy a new pc seller gives you a ghost image or back up cd !!!

second,Os is not a part of a pc..you must pay extra many for Os this is the reason of copyrights..

but we are talking about a keyboard.os is a part of product...

I'm willing to bet Ketron doesn't have time to answer your email, MUCH LESS to worry about your posting these files.
The question is, could someone else's Audya be harmed by downloading and installing the files.

Why are people messing about with thousands of pounds (dollar/ euro etc) worth of instrument instead of asking for the correct system restore disk or backing up the system themselves???

1) The content of the hard drive must match the firmware installed on the instrument otherwise you will have serious problems and may fry your main board.

2) If there is any corruption (like even 1 bit being a zero instead of a one) during download you will experience lock ups & crashes.

3) This version will not work on pre 2010 Audya keyboards or any audya with the 2011 upgrade.

4) You may be breaking the law.

Just get on the phone to your distributor and request a system restore disk if you think it is really necessary.

No, simply not nessesary because you'll find either a restore media as CD or DVD in the box, or a image already on HD to burn into such media stright from the PC's HD. Even my G-70 has a restore CD enclosed, and also the latest full OS update is downloadable.
Nowadays it should'nt be any problem due to size of the files regarding make things downloadable, the big question is if Ketron still live in the "old days" regarding internetlines and servercapasity as well.

it has absolutely nothing to do with 'living in the old days'. In fact at Ketron UK we have our own servers with more than enough space and bandwidth to handle this kind of thing...the point is, its a) illegal and b) very risky downloading the image for the reasons i mentioned.

of course if you want to screw up your £3000 to £4000 audya because its too much trouble to do a back up or ask for restore disks then please...be my guest.

In this country you'll have to pay at least £4825 (after price droppet quite a lot) for the Audya, and for that price all the nessesary restore media should be to find in the box.
For the pricelevel they started out when Audya came to this country, the serviceman should be anclosed as well.
