I know you will have enough to keep you busy but it would be nice if some kind person could make some short videos of the show. Even some mobile phone footage would be great for us unfortunates who can't make it on the day

Just to let you know there has been a change to the itinerary; John Paul Gard will use Audya 4 with the new KeyB Duo. Ian Griffin will be using using Audya (76 key).

We spoke to Ketron Italy today and have decided not to show the new products on the Open Day until they are properly ready. (The Stage Piano, SD1000 and MidjayPro) At the moment there are not even rough prices available...maybe at one of the later exhibitions. Sorry if that disappoints anyone, however we still have plenty of 'other' things to get excited about on the day smile

your jumping to conclusions wink

there will be three different 'items' on the agenda.

* one will hopefully be of interest to everyone that owns an Audya
* one is only for UK and covers all current Ketron stuff.
* the final one; we are not sure if it will be possible to make it available outside of the United Kingdom due to cost and logistics.

I am sure someone will get here before me on Monday (after the open day) to put you in the picture fully

oh i forgot, we prepared some things to give away for owners that come to the open day too.

i will be glad when next weekend comes around... quite shattered working 15 to 17 hour days for the past four days, plus time on the audya and computer at home (3:30am last night) and i don't think i will be in bed before 1am tonight then tomorrow will be the same.

It will be worth it though! and I am excited to see what John Paul Gard and Ian Griffin manage to pull out of the hat - they had little notice and swapped instruments this week too!

Pity Robert couldn't come over this year - I will miss his company, we normally have a ball on the roadshows.

I'm going to take a guess as to what's to be revealed tomorrow for Audya in UK

A style editor for PC
Or a touch screen 'upgrade' for Audya. smile

we would never make changes to the audya's functional hardware and we wouldn't want to mess with software either. As it happens I am anti-touch screen for pro equipment and prefer tactile buttons. If touch screen technology was employed it would have to be much, much bigger than the audya's current screen.

a style editor for pc would be great, it would only need to be a midi sequencer with the ability to insert loops, but its not that either. I do hope youv'e not been set up for a disappointment.

anyway you will know soon enough.

Is the style compiler which I downloaded from Ketron it not up to the job?
To be honest, I loaded it up and looked at it .............then went back to Styleworks !

Sure we do Leezone - but those attending the meet in Northampton will be FAR too busy trying out (and chatting about) the new product. I only know what I was told in advance so I'm awaiting the details as much as you - but you too will be very pleased when details are released (hopefully later today). It's that feeling that 'a roomful of people in Northampton now know, why not us???' - well we're hours away from knowing so hang on patiently. Carl

Speaking of Robert....." Mr. Audya " Where did Ketron get this guy doing the video demo's recently posted on their web site???

I hope he's not a personal friend of anybody here and I mean no offence to anyone......However......I must comment.....He IS a decent player....However he is totally expressionless and boring!

Doesn't he realize he is playing the MOST AWESOME ARRANGER KEYBOARD EVER MADE??????

Come on Ketron, if you can't get Robert to do the video's, at least find us someone that looks like he's excited about playing the AUDYA!

Again.....I mean no offense to the player......sorry if I stepped on any toe's.

But Come on.....let's show a little enthusiasm while playing this Great Keyboard.

i'm just confused as to why this mysterious Audya thing
was not shown at Messe
it probably is no big deal, otherwise...

and i can't imagine it not being ready 2 weeks ago, and now all of a sudden it is...

something does not add up

is this a UK Audya update? i do see link on ketron.it but to ketron.uk

hmmmm

Hey Leezone....Where is Tony during all these new discussions going on here. I kinda miss his negative input about the Audya and Ketron.

As for me.....I'm still thrilled with the Audya! We are now winding down a little from what we call our " SnowBird " Season here. The last four Month's have been SUPER BUSY and I owe much of it to the Audya.

Of Coarse, knowing how to play it helps. smile

Sorry, this is the first opportunity to post..so I just did this first. I relay hope its not a disappointment to you- I wanted to say something but could not.

Ketron UK News April 2nd 2012

I am hoping to have some video and photos for you too, but its been a very long day (long week actually) so will do it asap.

The seminars went well and it has been suggested we make this a more regular event.

I think those that came enjoyed the day - and many stayed all day long. Ian Griffin and John Paul Gard were exceptional, especially as they only had a day or so to prepare. Two very different artists who complimented each other very well.
