Hey, cool! Or we could buy one of those roll-up keyboards. We kid, but in 20 years, who knows.

Donny,

Is this what you're replacing your PSR-S910 with? After looking at the price tag, you could buy a pair of S-910s for the $3,000 price tag. Maybe you could pick up one of those T4s that everyone is rushing to get rid of. wink Maybe NOT! smile smile smile

This is rather brilliant! Where do I get one?

I'm just wondering if, over the years, the constant folding and unfolding will kinda screw it up?

But, the question you must ask yourself is "Will I sound $2,995 plus shipping better with the new, fold-up keyboard than I now do with the PSR-S910? My guess--probably not.

Hey folks, looks like to much work to me. Once you take it out of the case you've got to tighten up 4 "lug nuts" to let in stay in place. I can have my T4 on the stand and my wiring harness hooked to it by the time I do that.

LOL Sorry couldn't resist that one. wave

OTOH it could fit in the overhead luggage compartment on your next flight

You will make no sound at all except the fysicall noise of the keys with this keyboard....

its another one of those great ideas in theory but in practise has no market. Unless it comes with pre packed sounds and a fold up amplication system then the whole idea of portablility is lost. Whats the point ? a fold up keyboard is just going to sit in the back of the car like any other keyboard.

And I guess for people that have a vehicle that couldn't possibly hold more than a 61 key keyboard ( like my Camaro ) you could actually carry a 77 key keyboard folded like this. But I think it will be very much a niche market item. Still very cool all the same.

This is one of the coolest ideas I have seen smile The keyboard itself looks a bit 1980s when its set up, but I love the concept. Not sure it will be the worlds best seller though.

So was MJ (according to folks), but he is not top 50 as a vocalist either...

Musical genius?,, not in my book..gershwin, Porter, Mercer , Kern, Kahn..and a dozen more from that era...They were true musical genius.....The latter Pop artist were dependent on repetition beats, hooks, and appearance...and as one dimensional as they could be.....

I am not sure, music will ever be at the level of the 40's..in all genres...

And there lies the problem..... smile

Like many of us here...we have been around the many changes in music and we have comparisons and understandings....that a young generation can not appreciate..

I did not say SW and MJ were not talented..they just are not musical genius to me...
