Very humorous writing!
I remember reading somewhere, (maybe in TSG also) that Van Halen were the first or among the first to provide a multi page rider, with outrageous requirements such as
"A big bowl full of M&M's, please make sure that all brown colored M&M's are not to be in the bowl" and
"A row of 10 5A outlets with a 40A fuse"
They said later that part of these weird requirements were put there on purpose, as an insurance. "If we arrived and found out the bowl had brown M&M's, or that nobody had bothered us about the obvious miscalculation of the fuse Amperage, then it meant that the venue staff were very careless, not professionals and we had to check everything for ourselves in order not to be electrocuted on stage..."
