seems like AJAMSONIC can cost you anywhere from $399-$1,029
depending which version/hardware you go with... Ouchhh

$1,029 is alot to pay to fully upgrade an A4 module which already cost me over $3k

Where did you get that?? I read that for the Elite version it was $499.00 and for the 3/CD video tutorial an additional $100.00; so $600.00.

seems there will be 4 options:

the most expensive, being the Deluxe,
which will require you to swap out your soundcard for the new VOCAL Hold feature.

i believe the $1,029 would give you the "higher" 256mb upgrade
instead of the standard 128mb, plus new soundcard, plus tons of other stuff

i will let AJ elaborate on the other options and prices, if he's ready to...

this upgrade is mostly about new features
you don't want or need them, you don't buy them

yes AJ seems to have also Addressed the timing issues with audio drums
something Ketron should have done for free

again there will be OPTIONS starting at $499

not sure how much time was put into this project but I assume a lot
time is money

but ye I agree it's expensive as heck.

I could not agree more, you pay £4200.00 for a Audya, £120.00 for Ketron updates and the another £800.00 for A JAM SONIC in your dreams as I said, I can buy a Brand New Triumph Bonneville for that, put them side by side and see how much time and material has gone into each. Hey and the Bonney you won't lose half its value in the first year.
