Yes I know, but it would be cool if you just plug and play to the computer and if you put your mp3 songs on the sd card with styles and midifiles....

I was getting interested in this thinking it would sound like a PA500, or PAX2 or 3. If it sounds like a PA80 I probably am no longer interested. I'd have to know more and hear one before I'd get one of these.

I had a PA60 in my home on trial for about 10 days. The store must have really wanted to move it. Nobody does a free unsecured trial like that anymore these days. On top of it they were going to let me have it at dealer cost. I tried and tried. I really wanted to like it. I had others listen in comparison with whatever Tyros I had at the time. It just didn't cut it.

I'm sure a lot of people will find it great for them. I just wasn't one of them.

Looks like a fun board for on the go !

I bet it would also make a great mini - midi controller.

Stupid me , no USB out , well forget the mini - midi deal !

IF the MIDI implementation is the same as PA2/PA3, then I could be interested in it for playing Yammie styles & triggering vsti or other sound modules. It would HAVE to have the external option on all realtime instrument sections for me to be interested. That way, you can call up bank/pgm chg MIDI instruments from User voice programming on the Korg. (oops, does it even allow for user voices?)

Would you choose a MicroArranger over a BK7m? Come Christmastime or New Year's a $600 arranger might be a nice personal gift. The keybase on the other micro's is not that bad. For as much as I use arranger styles anymore, a mini keyboard arranger might be enough if it can handle my midi files. Hmmm, maybe I could pair it with my Discover5 Orchestrator and replace my s910... maybe not.

Easier to access styles, voices and I would think all file types on the fly. Notice nobody's talking about the Bk7m anymore. I'd still like to try it. It'd be nice to have that and really even this mini Korg along with the T4, could be fun.

I would take actual midi in/outs over USB to host only connections (like psr s 550/ E 423) , etc.

Yes 128 user voices and will load triton classic programs with same editing power.

Wow. Brilliant idea for an arranger. My plan for a small portable rig to take with me on weekend trips was a microkorg keyboard with my BK7m. Now Korg put it all into one unit! Wish it had USB midi, but that's easily done with an external adapter.
