I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this or if this is an isolated case. I've posted this on the psrtutorial forum where Michael Bedesem the programmer is the moderator.
So, haha, I started adding a bunch of new entries using the Musicfinder software. I save it with a new name. Come back later and open that new file and what do you suppose? The style associated with the songs I've had in my mfd have changed to different styles Not all of them but some of them. I know also some of my new entries showed the wrong style, other than what I saved. I'm not sure if all the new ones are wrong I didn't check. BTW, these were not 3rd party styles, well maybe I didn't check that, but I'm talking about onboard factory styles.
I'm using version 2.9.0. It automatically picked Tyros 2 which is correct. I believe I clicked on use user styles but again so far I am only talking about onboard Tyros 2 factory styles. I had the MF program up, I was also working and saving with a pllaylist open. When I would add a new entry sometimes I'd look at the song style I was basing this new record on which was on a thumb drive and click back and forth. Some I saved using Zouk, some where I didn't know the speed I saved at 32 or 36. I went to close the program and it reminded me to save, which I then did. I come back and open it up and theres the problem.haha
I am doing this on an older HP laptop with 128 ram. Generally I would do this on my desktop with Windows 7 which is a very fast computer. I'm thinking it is not because of the computer but is a program glitch. I was beginning a major project. I'm glad this happened near the beginning. Kind of
I am planning on starting over on my desktop. any ideas why this happened and any tips so I don't repeat this would be appreciated. Thank goodness I have several copies of my original mfd.
