Beakybird Senior Member Registered: 01/27/01 Posts: 2227	They're selling refurbs at Apple for $350. I don't see that much new on the iPad 2. I have a $550 Apple gift card. I'm leaning toward the refurb that has the same guarantee, and having left over money for apps and whatnot. What should I do?

Beakybird Senior Member Registered: 01/27/01 Posts: 2227	I went ahead and bought the first version for $349. If I change my mind, I can return it and get the newer one. I guess it makes sense for my economic situation, and since I don't see absolutely needing that camera ... If the new iPad had a dedicated usb slot and a memory card reader or a great camera .. I would have splurged. With arrangers, I like to get the latest model. That's my profession. With gadgets, I can live off the leftovers. Beakybird BTW, Mikey I hope your wife is doing well. Beakybird Senior Member Registered: 01/27/01 Posts: 2227	I had cold feet. My wife is also sick. We don't know what's going on, but I have a gut feeling she has multiple sclerosis. Her right arm has no strength, and she's feeling tingling in her other arm. Of course, I hope it's just a pinched nerve in her spine, but there are other factors ... I think I'm going to sell the $550 Apple Gift card on Ebay or Craigslist. If my wife does have MS, it's going to be tough getting by.
