Hi, everybody. I am from Norway, and my main instruments are drumset and hand drums. I am not a good keyboard player, or an expert on the technical side of things, but I manage to have lots of fun with my Ensonic synth and a Technics KN 1000. Pretty old stuff, so now I am planning to upgrade. I am sure I will get some good advice on that here.

Welcome casaet. You will find a lot of other Technics owners on the Technics forum here. http://www.synthzone.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/forums/25/1/Technics_Discussion

Welcome....what a beautiful country Norway is!

And don't apologize for using old equipment. Even though I have an SD-5 Ketron, I still use a pair of 16 year old MS-60 Soltons every day.

And, I relish the nights I play a 72 B-3 and two Leslies from the 70's, along with a 79 suitcase Rhodes.

you've got a really neat, old ketboard, and I'll bet you can make it "sing".

Glad you're here!

Thanks for the welcome, both of you.
I have found this to be a nice and friendly forum, with lots of good info. I have already decided to buy a Ketron SD1 or SD1 plus. Ketron have the styles and the sounds I like, and most important, it swings. So now we are going to have some fun.
