justforfun000,

Pls. see response to your questions below:

1) I want the vocalizer to sing harmony even when I'm not holding a chord. For example in a song like "Drift Away", you have a trio harmony with just the drums behind you for a bit. When I lift off the chord the vocalizer stops until I hit and hold a chord again. I hope this can be changed.
>>>AJ: If you proceed with the method above, you will have to make sure the HOLD button is on. However, you can re-adjust the vocalizer settings such that the harmonies are held even when you are not pressing a chord:-
* Press VOCALIZER EDIT button.
* Use the SET MODE (F3) button and select Keyboard harmony.
* Next, use the -CURSOR+ bottons to select Harmony LEFT or RIGHT.
* Now, set HOLD (F5)=on

2) The start/stop function is not sensitive enough. My Korg was far better at it. This board seems to require a much longer period of "hands off" before it will stop the style and restart where I want. This is very annoying as certain songs have a 2/4 measure and I am trying to get it to sync in to the beginning of a 4/4 measure. It took me about 8 tries before I managed to get it to do it. As I was in the middle of a song and backing someone up, this was quite a piss off. I HOPE there is a way to shorten the recognition time so I can use this function better?
>>>AJ: Yes there is.
* Under ARRANGER MODE (F4)
* Go to page 2/2 & set the SYNC TIME to a value less than 250 (as set by Ketron).

Thanks,

AJ

That's wonderful. I will try both suggestions. Thank you very much.
