Since T3 things....styles etc.. don't convert well on T4.....
I wonder if T4 things will be good on T5 in the future or ?

I think most of us make a big mistake trying to make our new keyboards sound exactly like the old one. Maybe it's a good thing.
I played Tyros 4 quite a bit, and I can't imagine there are many styles you would need to play most every song imaginable.

You might be right Don....I think its also a new way of manufacturers protecting themselves style wise also.

The day I upgraded from Tyros 2 to 4, I was able to simply insert my Tyros 2 memory stick full of T2 styles, regists, lyrics text, etc. into the Tyros 4 USB slot and everything got called up properly & sounded pretty much as they did on Tyros 2. smile That said, I now use and prefer the new and/or updated styles in Tyros 4 because they sound a whole lot better. cool The only Tyros 2 files that required converting (from .tvn to .uvn) were the sampled voice files. The converter utility's free & available for download from Yamaha.
