Thanks, Nigel. Looks good so far. Will take a little while to figure out all this new stuff. I think I'll just go to the keyboard and play Lavender Blue . . .

Nigel, if we click on Synth Zone at the top left, I think it should take us to the Synth Zone home page. My browser says it can't find that server . . .

Hi Bob.

Nice change to the forum, only too bad there are no new Technics keyboards to add more life to this part of SZ.
Nigel does a great job!

Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone.

Happy Playing smile

Hi

I don't know if its just me but I'm finding the font quite small and harder to read with my 1920 - 1200 resolution moniter. This can be overcome by increasing the zoom to 125%.

Hi Nigel,
One more correction for you. Starting from the Synth Zone home page and clicking on either the Yamaha or Technics in the Electronic keyboards, this brings us to their respective "zone" page. The links to their syntzone forum in the upper right corner is obsolete...This is how I have discovered in the past the Technics forum.

Thanks for the good job.

Serge

I will work on that Glen. I don't think an increase in the font size would upset anyone.

So pleased you are all onboard with the new forum. Not that we lost anything, I was concerned about picking new software that brought across all your member records and all the old postings so that nothing was lost.

It had to be done as the old software had so many security hole that hackers could exploit to bring this server down. Plus there are MANY new features so it really is a win win. And if you don't like the default colors simply go to the botton of the page and pick a new style. Also if you want more posts per page then simply set that up in your settings.
You have so many more choices if you want them now.

Hi Nigel,

Is there a way to keep the color settings once chosen? Each time I go back to the forum, it resets back to black and gold colors.

Thanks

Sure, just go to the "My Stuff" drop down menu and select "Edit Preferences" and you will see a setting there for your preferred color scheme.

So pleased you found us again Eddie. How did you end up finding the new link? It is on http://www.synthzone.com and the Technics page there so I hoped everyone would make it back.

Interesting link for anyone like myself who as a computer now running Windows 7 Home premium.
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/13359/ins...virtualization/

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/11060/create-an-xp-mode-for-windows7-home-versions-and-vista/

I can assure you that it does work so am now able to get my drivers talking to the KN via virtual XP mode, excellent, saved me purchasing the professional or Ultimate versions of Win 7.

Hope this info is of help

Kindest Regards
Pete

I am so very sorry Pete. But I hope you are playing again now. You know she is watching and would want you to. If you don't play for yourself please play for her.
