Hi all.
LSCP Gen is now 100% compatible with the Lionstracs OS.

This is not an update patch, this is a replacement for the original program so you will have to uninstall the old version before installing this one. I won't be issuing an update patch for the old version because the new version 2 has been completely been rewritten and this is the final version of the program going forward from now on.

Setup.exe

Kind Regards
James

Yeah... it's been frustrating, but fun
I do need to write a manual for it, but that's the easy bit. At least the program is finished.

That said, as always, if you see a bug just let me know.

Kind Regards
James

Thanks James,

I have one question:

Do you have some problems with: MSB+LSB:

Because I want to see all this sounds in groups and play them but I have no sucess until now. If you have some suggestion tell me.

Before we had two files lscp + txt file now in ISO 4 ; 4.5 we need only one file: LSCP

Now when i see your LSCP maker is all clear. Thank you.

Code is clear

Yes and no. There is a bug in version 2.0 but this has been fixed with an update patch to version 2.01

Please see this post for details and for the patch update. http://www.lionstracs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=33

I'm not sure what you mean. If you wish the sounds to be displayed in order if you have added them in a random format, select “Task Items” and click on “Sort Giga”. This will rearrange all the sound in order by program number and MSB LSB.

Correct. All you need is the LSCP file for Giga sounds, but LSCP Gen also supports VSTi's and will generate the TXT file for the VSTi too.

Hope that helps.

Kind Regards
James.

Hello,

how are you set groups than in lscp file.
Because now groups are not present anymore like before.

We had in past txt file and lscp
now is only one file LSCP

So I have problem with that drums are in all groups as they are usuly preset. Also strings group is some files on strings group some on piano etc . . .

I hope you understand what I mean.

Hello.
At this moment in time LSCP Gen does not have that function. It's something I will be adding in version 3 along with the ability to use many folders.

Here's a workaround for you though.

1: In LSCP Gen select the Library you want to work on.
2: Click on Task Items
3: Click on Sort Giga
4: Click on Write LSCP/TXT
5: Click on Write LSCP
6: Give your file a name and save it.
7: Open the file in a text editor
8: Insert the following lines of code where needed into your LSCP File to define the groups.

add_category_internal("Piano GIGA");
add_category_internal("Electric Piano GIGA");
add_category_internal("Guitar GIGA");
add_category_internal("Strings GIGA");
add_category_internal("Brass GIGA");
add_category_internal("Flute GIGA");
add_category_internal("Organ GIGA");
add_category_internal("Reed GIGA");
add_category_internal("Synth GIGA");
add_category_internal("FX & ORIENTAL SOUNDS");
add_category_internal("Drum Sets GIGA");

9: Save and exit.

Done..!!!

Regards
James
