I recently bought the MIDJAY. My problem is it not recognised by my computer for data transfer. My computer has windows-XP. In the same port all my other devices are very well recoginsed like digital camera,Pen drive & even my roland Juno-G. I don't know what to do??? It is very much important feature for me as I have to load whole new set of .wav & .mid files as I am into Indian Music. The preload data are not of much use for me. The driver available on the ketron site are for windows-98 only. I want someone like Ketron_AJ to elobarate on the issue.

rolandg,

As stated above, the cable might be the problem as the Midijay should automatically be recognized once connected to a PC. When you connect the Midijay to your PC, is any message displayed on the Midijay screen (appart from the default - Sound, Styles, Volume ... etc)?

Thanks,

AJ

Hello Ketron_AJ,
Thanks for your reply on my quirey. When connected neither I received any message on Midjay nor the USB light on the midjay light up. As per your advice I'll change the cable and try it again. I'll revert you back after checking, but for your information same cable is used for other application for exchanging data using other instruments.

Hello Ketron_AJ,
USB problem is solved upon changing the cable. Thanks for your promt reply. I want to know one more thing if MIDJAY is MIDI with SD-5 is it possible to synchronize an audio loop with the rhythm section of a Style and the .WAV file is automatically loaded as soon as the Style is called up? as I want to run Indian Drum loops to make my styles which is not possible on SD-5 as the keyboard is not having any Indian Drum & Percussion sounds which can be used while recording user patterns.

regards,

rolandg.
