Hi!

I just finished a software for import a ketron Drum kit from an USD file into another one.

Download it for free here :
http://dan.zeitoun.free.fr/ketron/KMSP.exe

Note that I don't have the SD1 close to my development computer, so I never tested if it works !!!
Please test it , and make your report...

Note : if the file doesn't work , you can try to install the dll here :
http://dan.zeitoun.free.fr/ketron/INSTDLL.EXE

or a complete pakage with an old software :

New version !!! You can now mix 2 USV files to import some sounds into you USV file...
Note that I never tested it, report me if you find some bugs.

Avaible for free at the same adress...

Its a tools, imagine Mr A create a sound using UserVoices and wants to give it to Mr B, Mr B wants the sound, but doesn't want to replace all his sounds by thoses of Mr A. So he can import just the ones he wants into his USV file...

Dan:

Do you have any suggestions for adding sample sounds to the Vega .SND files? Do you have any editors planned to creat new .SND files with our own samples?

Given your experience with the MSP editor for the SD1 and the programs that combine user voice and drum kit sounds, I thought you might have some plan for such a program as well.

No, it's not possible easily
Here some way to do that
1) Buy this product from Atmel to creating sounds (900$ !!!), or find someone have it: http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools_card.asp?tool_id=2740
2) Use the Atmel software for creating a file for their chip
3) Convert the file from Atmel to a Ketron file using a little ketron software to make the 8 or 16 SND disks (you must work for ketron to have it, note that perhaps it's not so difficult to that software...)
4) Enjoy (you will never)

There is a lot of oriental people that need that.

Cause ketron doesn't really want to do what we need, and don't take time to corrige their bugs, I think I will create my own arranger keyboard. If you have good sounds, please contact me, we will see...

Thanks for the response.

I have a few sampled sounds like Harmonium that I will send you. I did not record these samples and have not heard them on a good quality sound card so I can't vouch for their quality. I am also looking for the sound of Rubab.

With some joint effort, maybe this task can be done.
