I just loaded 2 INS drumkits...
Why the drumskits can only be used in the DRUM2 track of the pattern?
I really want to use 2 INS drumkits in a style...
Is just a flag in the INS file to say if the drums are "LIVE"?
And what so special with thoses "LIVE" samples? after all, they are samples as others drums samples...
So is it possible to load my INS drum kits in DRUM1 chanel?
Aj? you know this thing?

DAN.2000,

Hmmm ... not that easy. Drum1 is a Midi track - notes are interpreted via midinotes that translate to the notes on the keyboard (in the order in which they were recorded - so you could have say C2-kick, then F3-conga ... no particular order.
Drum2 (for the most part) plays linerly - the wave loop is broken from left to right accross the keyboard so during playback it is not done in a random order but also from left to right (just as the wave file was broken up over the board).

I understand that the type of sample is different, and the mapping too...
But after all, technically, it's the same thing, just the sound is not a sampled perc, but a little part of a drum loop... Ok, but why it's not possible to assign thoses drum2 in the drum1 part
