How do you like the A 1000 guys?
does it have a 16 track sequencer that's eazy to use?
I own 2 roland G1000's I'm sure everybody knows by now how complicated this keyboard is! but I like the sounds of it.
is the Yamaha user friendly? will it pass for a professinal keyboard? cause I only do a
one man band.and is it flexible to play western music? and where can I buy it? here in Wisconsin is hard to find it.and price?
Stephan.

Hi Stephan,, The Yamaha is very user freindly, Great durms, percussion, accomp,Styles.
It does have a 16 track recorder,, Great sounds,,Western and Middle eastern,,I personnaly like it and use it as a accompaniment, Keyboard. Since I have the Faboulus sounds on my K2vx that I received from the Myestro Abdalla Safar,
I programed the styles on the psr to play only drums, Base,Guitars and brass, and then added the tabla, Daff,Doholla, And the claps, on the four assignable Pads that I can add and deleat on the fly when I am perfoming live. The drawbacks of the PSR are, the looks, the keys are too light,It has the wheel instead of the joystick.Other than that it is a wonderfull machine for Middle eastern music and Western as well.
As far as getting one, thats a task,, I ordered mine from Synthplanet.com,, and got it in two weeks,,Price is arround $1150-$1200,including Shipping.
Hope this helps,, Ho HO HO HO!!!!!

Thank you George, it does really help, I'm collecting opinions, I personally like the joystick, the wheel is not very practical, and I like the keys to feel pro. too. I heard the vega doesn't have the 16 tracks,is that true? that's a drawback too, thanks for your help again buddy.
Stephan.
