Hello there
let me first say that I'm replying to your post in a very friendly way, no harm intended what so ever so please don't take it the wrong way. Having said that i like to point out that the one thing about this place that always attracted me is the kind of friendly relationship that we hold here.
Something about your post bothered me and i felt that someone should say something, i am from the middle east, very proud of my origin and never hide it and I've never had any feeling that I'm being mistreated or taking for a ride by any music store or any music dealers, whenever i need to buy a new gear i shop everywhere and at the end i decide where to buy it from, i going to give you an example, when the X1 first come out it was being sold in Lebanon between $3800 and $5000, George kaye was offering it for $2900 and he was trying his best to get the oriental software to be included in the internal hard drive so he can throw it in for free, i never bought any thing from George except may some minor things but that never stopped him from coming to the phone and spend what ever it took to explain something to me about a product that i didn't even buy from him, and he is one of the music stores that i deal with.
All i want to say is you're welcome just like everyone else to advertise for your business and there might be a chance that I'll be one of your customers but i don't think it was appropriate to attack others

with all due respect, that was my 2 cents.

PEACE.
EDDY

I'm from the Middle EAST too and I'm proud of where I 'm from and I agree with what Eddy said.the people in here have been so friendly to me and they help me Allot.for a music store.I got the best Deals on a Korg Triton and Karma. I did not buy the E-500OR from here(USA) but the Price I paid for it was $2600.that's right you can laugh at me now.and Guess how Much is costed in here when it was released($1400).

*George kaye is the best Dealer for Every thing you can Imagine.I wish he would own "Roland" cause they need the way he supports the products he sells .

my two cents too .no attacking

P.S the E-500OR was never released in the US.some dealers I know, had to get them from Dealers from the middle east.so by logic it should cost more cause of shipment.but because their was no big demand for it .their for it was for $1400 US.SO ANYWAY YOU WILL GET THE BEST DEAL FOR ORIENTAL KEYBOARDS IN THE US

Hi guys,

I don't know who Johny is or Eddy or Vic...all of you seem to be very nice people and informative I might add. I am new here, but I thought to add my two cents .

I don't think Johny meant to point any fingers at anyone in this chat service, I believe he was talking about music stores in the USA in general. I am not sure I agree with him about the rude part or the rip off part (they usually do not decide what the price should be, its a competitive business), but there is one thing that I struggle with which is the ignorance or lack of knowlege that many of the music stores have about arabic music instruments. Many of the stores I talked to, don't even know that there are such things as Oriental keyboards...

thats all I wanted to say
