Have recently bought a Tyros 1 and at present getting to grips with it and plodding on!!
Is there an easy way I can record my own playing onto cassette? Might seem a very
basic question but can I connect between the Tyros and a cassette deck to reoord?
Any help would be much appreciated

A very simple process. 1/4" output on the back of the Tyros to RCA input on the back of the cassette deck. You can buy (Radio Shack) patch cords that are 1/4" male on one end and RCA on the other. This should allow you to hit record on your tape deck and play whatever you like and have a record. Of course make sure you set the recoding level on the tape deck to prevent clipping or to much signal input.
