Halifax in the UK (Where Wersi UK is based, and which now have a production version of the wing) is a lot closer to most SZ members than China.

BTW: You can take about 9 months out of the Year mentioned, as Music Store only estimated the launch onto the market (In its finished form) for late October 2010.

In Addition: Would you really buy a Hi-Tec product with only a German Manual, (Assuming you were not fluent German) or wait until the translated version was available.

Hi Guys,
Well i have emailed Musicstore twice now and had NO response regarding the launch date of this thing. Had I have been a customer having ordered one, what would happen.

Has anyone out there actually got one on pre-order and if so, whats the ETA from them. There have been Demo models available for a while, most were seen in october at the OKEY festival, but no end user product.

I hope it comes out soon otherwise the technology will be out of date and other manufacturers will have bought out 2 instruments since Wersi announcing just one.

Just wonder how good it is going to be at half the price of the Audya, they say you get what you pay for thats what worries me. It doesn't look all that promising at the moment does it.There is only one in the UK??

As you are in the UK, your 1st port of call should be http://www.wersi.uk.com/ or http://www.wersidirect.com/www.wersidirect.com/Welcome.html NOT Music Store. (The Wersi Service Partners were set up by MS for a reason, to serve the local countries residents)
Hope this helps

Bill

Hi Tony
As Peter is bringing one down to you, (Mentioned in another thread) you will be able to have 1st hand experience of the Wing in comparison to your Audya & PA2x. (Assuming that you still have them)

Bill,

My BB is running at 35mb and that poxy wersi website still locks my PC up, demo to come later, this ain't much better than the MS demos in fact MS demos are better and I am troubled to say that.If you can't write a good website what the hell are you making top end KB for. I think this will all end in tears, if they don't pull something out of the fire soon. I don't know whats going on perhaps you do in more detail.

Hi Tony
Have you got the latest Flash Player installed, as my IE only has a slight delay (Approx. 2s) to open each page, with Firefox and Chrome being virtually instantaneous?
I am running Win 7, (64 bit) however it also works on my XP and Ubuntu (Linux) installs exactly the same

Hi Bill,

I tend to go direct for information as this way, the information is 100% correct. I have spoken to one of your recommended ports of call and got a "dont know yet" answer.

I would say, the one in the UK is a demo model that I have played whilst in germany, and not a full retail production machine, although, who knows I could be proven wrong. As they are still not available in Germany, I doubt that the UK will get deliveries quicker than their home market.
