Tassman Demo Now Available
April 17th 2003 - Applied Acoustics Systems today announced the immediate
availablity of a demo version of their critically acclaimed Tassman Sound
Synthesis Studio 3.0 for Mac and Windows.
Described by Electronic Musician Magazine as "among the most distinctive
sound design resources around today", the Tassman is a modular instrument
and sound design environment, encompassing over 50 instruments and 1000
presets based on AAS's own physical modeling technology.
The demo provides new users with the opportunity to explore the Tassman's
vast collection of instruments including emulations of vintage analog and FM
synthesizers, acoustic and electro-mechanical instruments like electric
pianos, organs and various chromatic percussion, as well as hybrid
constructions which would be simply unachievable by any other means of
synthesis.
The Tassman 3.0 demo is available now from the Applied Acoustics Systems
website for Mac OS 9.x, OS X, Windows XP, 2000, ME, and 98SE.
