Tyroos 4 to me is not only great for one man band gigging but an equally impressive one piece all in one studio music production house. Tyros 4’s not only idea for arranging, composing, and recording pop and dance genres but with the advent of the new choir & string voices, new classical arr styles, brings the ability to realistically emulate classical orchestral & choral works of which I'd never found convincingly enough impressive before. Tyros 4 has got me interested now in rediscovering my classical repertoire background and also exploring new musical genre possibilities.

I'm with Scott on this one...choir voices were always a bit lacking, and it's nice to see them at the same level of quality as the SA Guitars, Pianos, Organs, Strings, Brass etc.

Certainly it broadens the range of the Tyros4 by quite a long way.

I use many Songs that have Vocals in them.
We all play different genres of music.
Don't need/like the Shoobe doo's though...

I can see Scott's points on these choir voices and, like any other voice, it's all in how you use them. I clicked one of the other T4 demos on that Earth Song page, the one featuring Lionel Richie's song, 'Easy'. Unfortunately, the use of the choir voices there were way too repetitive and soon became an intrusion rather than a pleasant addition. Choir voices, use sparingly.

I like what Scott said. It got me to thinking, maybe I could fire my church choir and go with the Tyros 4. Hmmmmm.....

Maybe between the choir voices and the SA trumpet, you could do something like this beautiful arrangement of 'Cristo Rendentor' by jazz trumpeter Donald Byrd. It's long been one of my favorites. I've tried to do it before but none of the choir voices I had available to me sounded right. I tried it once with my church choir but Unitarian choirs are notoriously bad and it sounded like puppy poo. Maybe I can borrow a T4 .
