Casio WK-7500 factory demo song. I'm actually quite surprised. Sounds like Casio really cleaned up the drums.

Didn't sound too bad..BUT...what a poor quality Video.

Not even in focus...my 6 year old Granddauter could do much better with a 10 year old video camera.

Lee,

Better than the MS video with the chap with the shorts on, anything is better than that.

Yes, impressive sounding demo showcasing the acoustic jazz genre. What's the list & estimated street price of the WK-7500 going to be? That said, I suspect this was recorded utilizing an external keyboard controller and not played on the 7500 itself.

PS: What's the difference between the WK-7500 and CTK 7000?

Thanks Fran. In the meantime, I was able to locate the WK7500/CTK7000 owner's manual HERE !

Depending on the list/street price of these two keyboards, these look to be a terrific arranger keyboard option to consider. Listening to the demo and reading the specs. "Casio's not your father's keyboard"! vrroom!

Fran: Can't wait to get your feedback after you receive yours.

I'm impressed so far. I'll wait until more vids pop up showcasing more sounds and styles. The demo sounds very nice.., and I'm also impressed with the drum kit in that demo too.

If the sounds are up to par (so far so good too).., I'll be picking up the CTK-7000. I think I saw on a UK site where the 7000 was listed for 399.99

The WK-7500 and CTK-7000 just might be a game changer for Casio. Even today the public is still probably not ready for another Casio that costs over $1,000 (MZ-2000).

Casio has added some very good features to these new models, and even though they're not up to the full level of the MZ-2000 they sure as hell (appear) to be packing one heck of a punch for the price.

Rumor has it that the CTK-7000 will be $499-$599. If that's the case.., then at that price Casio is really going to create a comfortable spot for themselves in the semi pro/budget arranger market.
