Great singer, and awesome accompaniment.

Thanks Scott.

I'm more excited about taking delivery of my Tyros4 than ever after watching this video. Gotta admit I'm having trouble focusing on much of anything else lately. 3 days to go . . . hurry up UPS Santa!

Love the arrangement and the singer is AWESOME !!...

Just a little observation, I can see that he is an excelent Pianist (Great harmony) and chops, I just wish he would not use sustain when playing an acoustic guitar S.A., that gives away that he is a pianist, nothing wrong with it, is just the "logic" of playing that instrument, you either "HOLD" the note, play legato, but NOT sustain it like the piano. I often see that "habit" with other pianist, I have heard it with the Sax sounds S.A.1 & 2....No sax ever sustains like piano, etc.

Hi

Nice song and a great singer, but the T4 sound is thin and unrealistic compared to real music.

Niels, don't agree with you about thin and unrealistic, but do acknowledge that the Tyros4 sounds a lot different (refined & polished) vs the raw live punch of the Audya. Personally I think it has a lot to do with the type of venue you want to emulate. Tyros4 sounds most suitable for smaller lounge jazz venues and Audya idea for emulating a dance hall environment. Viva la difference! - Scott

Me too! I suspect I may have to wait a while yet, while pre-orders are being filled.

Those vocal patches really add to the music.

I agree, and it's a mistake I hear quite often when a pianist plays the other sounds as they would a piano.

Sax emulations are ofttimes less realistic when there are two notes sounding when grace notes are played...sax is a monophonic instrument...SA Saxes go a long way in helping the performer do a realistic imitation, but proper phrasing required to keep the notes single at all times. I usually set the SA Saxes to mono on the Voice Control Panel.

That singer sure is somethin' else...what a voice!

I gotta admit guilt to have done this myself on at least one occasion.

A favourite of mine, too. But, WHO are these guys? No names given in the blurb, so my guess is that they're a couple of session players. Hope they got paid scale at least.
