OK, I see your point.
You can have some solutions but you I guess you can't really control everything under the master volume control, on the SD1... (I'll try that on my SD1 later...)

Another solution:
You can use "another" mixer only for your keyboard (connecting the output of "that" mixer to your main mixer). There are lots a mini mixers avaiable, and you can put it even on the keyboard.

You said about SEP 3 OUT volume. What about effects on main L&R in the same time when u use separate output? I have X4, in manuals they said should be no problem to have fulkl effects section on L&R , only SEP 3 is DRY!!!
But there is problem with dely and chorus. You don't hear them. You must turn change to distorsion, then go back to delay to be able to hear delay. Then if you change to another voice and go back, delay is gone.

See my new topic about that. How SD-1 handle this situation?
