I Heard the Bells On Christmas Day is probably my personal favorite.

I also really enjoy the Star Carol, Silent Night and Go Tell it on the Mountain...

I dread playing Grandma got run over by a reindeer, the 12 days of xmas and the night before xmas...

I play the Christmas Song once in July every year, to see if anyone is listening and because it's one of my all-time songs!

Russs, July's appropo esp considering it was written in the hot summer of 1944 by vocalist Mel Torme & Bob Wells. “I saw a spiral pad on his piano with four lines written in pencil,” Tormé recalled. “They started, ‘Chestnuts roasting ... Jack Frost nipping ... Yuletide carols ... Folks dressed up like Eskimos.’ Bob (Wells, co-writer) didn’t think he was writing a song lyric. He said he thought if he could immerse himself in winter he could cool off. Forty minutes later that song was written. I wrote all the music and some of the lyrics.”

PS BTW ... Anyone here watch the CMA Christmas special last night? ... I find Jennifer Nettles' (of Sugarland) voice a little too 'twangy' at times, but I thought this was a really nice show ...

For the last few years, a very upbeat arrangement of this song has been my December closer. So much more fun than "We Wish You etc"
