A nice little recorder for the price.... Does a decent job on audio and not that bad on video... They now have a high def one that is a bit better and more money. This is a sample song I recorded. It's a song I wrote about my Dad who has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home... I used my PSR S900. Overall I am happy with the Zoom Q3.... Ron...

Great job Ron. It's great that we can express ourselves musically - not many have the ability to write, sing and play a song like that.

I lost my Mom last month, but she is in a better place now

BTW, I have the Q3HD on order from Frank. I had the Q3 too, but lost it, unfortunately.

Hi Ron: A really nice musical creation about a subject that robs so many families of their living loved ones. Your vocal ability is impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Ron, man can I relate to that. My dear father-in-law died in February, 14 years after diagnosis. I was his primary caregiver. Everyone else, including natural children were increasingly busy, "he doesn't know I'm there", etc. Sundowner syndrome is rough! You'll also notice the entire population of an Alzheimers ward gets active/irritated when it's windy, stormy, etc.

My take-away from the entire process was to dedicate myself to Nursing Home reform, but that';s another story for a different place.

Believe me, even when things progress to the point where communication is difficult, dad will know you're there.

And, what's more important, YOU'LL remember every visit on a much more intense level than before.

All the best to you and your dad.

Russ

Ron, what a moving & personal performance. Thank you for sharing.

After watching your YouTube clip, I'm interested now in possibly picking up a Zoom Q3HD, or similar portable vido-audio recorder too. Curious, how much does the Q3HD goes for? Additional recommendations & comments would also be appreciated. - Scott

SCott also look into the Kodak line of mini video camera.....my friend has one and it does an excellent job....

NOTE: I really dont see the need for it as my NEW HTC EVO phone can do just as well taking video...as probably most of the new Smart Phones on the market.
