Excellent! Leigh is a fine player. Drums sound great, as does the bass and guitar in the accompaniment.

Really looking forward to my Tyros4.

Thanks Bill.

A great demo. That's the brush drums, I think. I'd like to hear a demo like that of the other drum kit.

Mr. Wilbraham's jazz arranger playing clearly separates the 'men' from the 'boys'. A wonderful demonstration of Yamaha's rootless jazz chord voicing recognition. Primo arranger jazz musicianship. Bravo Leigh!

He is a great player. I guess that is a trumpet in the mix? If so, it doesn't sound good. Sounds cheesy. The vibraphone, if that's what that is, sounds good. Piano sounds great.

I think everyone could agree that the drums are well sampled.

Nice Job ...enjoyed it! No need for 76 keys here...

By far the best Yamaha demo sound wise to me...

I found the drums surprisingly good (Brush kit)..The Vibes are better then previous Tyros...the trumpet was ok, but a little gimmicky..and the piano..did nothing for me...seems like the old piano..

What made the demo work for me..he turned down/off the other accomp parts to give a more combo feel..

And yes 76 keys would have helped the player...the piano part (two hands) played on the right hand split was limited to close voiced piano..it suffered greatly from the limited range...

Nothing wrong with those drums! They sound realstic.

Leigh alwasy does a nice job of playing.

Classic example of great talent and a great sounding instrument...you need both IMHO.

Yep, Leigh does a fine job...nice piano work, and great use of the style variations.

By the way, Fran, that style is like that when you select it..it's just guitar, bass, and drums (piano in the intros/endings)....I have something the same on the T3, and S910 (called ModernJazz), although the drums aren't as "live."

The really cool bass and guitar parts are programmed over 16 measures/variation.

Just a quick thank you to everyone who has posted such kind comments. With T4 I am turning off more and more parts as the drums and bass alone give such realism.

I have to say, out of all of the instrument I have owned, this is by far the most incredible, so much so, I am now selling my Wersi organ as it has not been touched since the T4 came into the house.

Those drums are just awesome and thanks to the on board FX, you can create some really live jazz, pop and orchestral moods.
Would I part with Tyros 4 - NEVER! Polyphony is an issue, specailly when playing it as an organ AND FOR GODS SAKE YAMAHA please PLEASE give us the ability to save a midi set up as part of the registration information.
If im playing as an organ with a pedal voice, and then change thie midi settings, I want to be able to save this in the registration memory!! PLEASE. I will pay you for this facility!
(Hang on, haven't i already done that!) Pretty Please with a cherry on top!

Maybe...if at NAMM Yamaha annouces the second (lower) KBD option, they will take care of that and other things needed to make all that work????
