I used to have a working EPS16+ and loved it. A bit of a pain to play out with but loved the looping and sample editing.

Whats a modern day replacement? All I can find are DJ loop gear.. I want a synth sampler. With to days tech compared to my EPS it should be 1,000 times better and cheaper.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
andy

Most of it is just gonna be DJ looping stuff . The Korg Trition has a sampling function but it's not cheap .
You could look at used gear like the Ensoniq ASR10 which came after the EPS series .
The Emulator III from Emu systems , it's an older synth sampler with a lot of capabilites and the price has gone down alot .
The Roland S-50 is another good one if you don't mind abit of a low-fi sound - it's a 12bit sampler .
Their is the Roland VP-9000 Vari-phrase sampler but it had alot of bugs and never worked right ,
