I just don't get it... other than heat build-up issues gigging outside (the reason why I don't go for black keyboards if I can help it), what does color matter AT ALL?
Durability, now that's a whole different kettle of fish, but color? REALLY? That's the best this forum can come up with?

if you play in front of an audience a plastic silver/grey keyboard doesn't give much stage presence. One of the reason the little Nords have been such a hit. Hammond's look good on stage as do Vox continentals. Other than that they have to have the cool Johnny Cash look - all dressed in black.
Silver is just not a great look, not just silver but plastic too!
If I could have my Audya refinished it would be in a rubberised black case (like the old Gems S2 turbo) with an blue pin stripe that lights up running all the way around the case. The Ketron lettering in Heat reactive pearlescant paint.

I really thought we'd see a new color for the Tyros 4. Didn't the new Motif change to black?
Not wild about my T2 silver- gets dirty very easily.
I had a Roland synth- I think an RS 9. It was gold and black- it looked nice, but my T2 sounds way better. I don't give the color of the KB much thought. Just about anything on the market now would work for me as long as it sounds good.

OMgosh,red,absolutly not,might cause some eleptic seizure or unbeknownst to the audience, make them mental all night long. I will only go for the more adult looking black with grey lines scheme. All tyros's are waaay to entry level looking for me..like a suped up,balls out 454 chevy engine in a intrepid car.
