I took an unexpected trip to Frankieves store today to pick up my Tyros 4. Ironically, Frank was not in but on his way to a wedding one town over from where I live. I got to the store shortly before closing and there was no time to really demo the other brands.

Short story is I love what I've heard so far. I do not plan on posting a review since I'm tired of all the bickering about T4. All I can say is this board is going to work for me. I had a T3 demo for a weekend 2 years ago and so far this is what T3 should have been!

For those of you who I talk with outside the forum feel free to call or shoot me an e-mail. I'll be happy to tell you what I like about it. I won't get much time with it this weekend since I was on vacation this past week and I've got to get some rehearsal time in for a double on Monday the Columbus Day Holiday

Steve, that's great news, and congratulations on getting your new Tyros4.

I figured you'd be thrilled, and, when you get time, send me an email..I value your impressions.

I also understand your reluctance to post any reviews here on SZ.

I have received two reviews so far, both from former Tyros3 users, and they've been more than pleased.

Anything you need, just ask, and kudos to Franky for his terrific service.

Hey, way to go Stephen. Early Christmas present I'll give you a call next week to hear all about it, or call me when you have time.

Steve! Congratulations on your new arrival.. I'm really looking forward to your candid feedback after you've had a chance to play it a bit. That said, I hope you'll be able to dedicate the next 12 hours to non-stop playing it as I plan to call you early tomorrow morning for a full report. . Hahaha. Just kidding. I'll give it 24 hrs.

Excellent choice Steve.

Good luck with the T4. I can't wait to get together and check it out when you come down here.

Hey Stephen! Congrats on the new acquisition! I know you'll love it. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the new features. Also interested in what the new styles sound like (those with and without the voices).

Congrats on your new T4, Stephen. I know we've discussed keyboards many times and we even have owned some of the same. This time I think you've left me behind. Go for it!

Remember the bickering when the T3 came out? And the T2? And the Audya? And the G70?

Obviously, some of that bickering you agreed with (or you would have got the T3). How about allowing us the opportunity to bicker once again..?

Or, as it is a less partisan description of the word bicker (after all, you were happy enough with it when it agreed with your opinion of the T3), the reasoned discussion and critique of it...

Congratulations Steve. When you have an opportunity, give me a call on the telephone. Just want to ask you a few questions.

Thanks,

Many years ago, I traveled with a drummer and we did a duo at Ramada in Ocala (6 nights/wk). Used to go to Crystal River Beach after the jobs.....what fond memories Hope your plans work out, one way or another.

Jim, it's still beautiful country and still lots of horse farms despite the city's rapid growth the last few years. We may just have to freeze up here in the north a few extra winters.
