Hi all
Last night , I played with a melodica, on top of my SD1
( http://www.yamahamusical.com.br/index.php?pagina=produto&id=297 )

I think there is a little saliva runs on the SD1 Keys. And now the key D1 is not working !

if I play the key at max velocity, the sound is maximum, if not the sound is 0

How I can repair this? (I think it's a thing about cleen contacts?)

Hey!
You have to open the keyboard, take off carefully the keys part. You have a lot of screws there, maybe you should use an electric screwdriver, then will see some rubber ribbons on the board, long and grey ussaly.Take the part covering D1,or damaged area, clean it carefully inside with a lite alcool, nice and gentle, you should see some black dots, they are the contacts...then clean the black stripes on the board as well.Put back everything in the same way!
Screw back and put all the conectors back...that's it.Take time and write down eventully all the operations you done to open the thing.
I did it before and its working.
