Best Drums on arrangers ( that I think have better drums than any workstation) are:

1- Audya (Ketron products in general)
2- Korg PA800/PA2x

yes, it also says that yamaha also makes many arrangers that are inexpensive, which also reflects the sales numbers. If yamaha only made 2-3 arrangers I'm sure things would be a lot different.

I think Yamaha have the most balanced sounding drums of all that I've heard/owned.

Bomba6, in the the original post think that the Yamaha drums are "dull", then he is asking for an advise.

Why some disqualify his opinion and keep insisting in that he use the drums that he already have an opinion against?.

I totally agree with your assessment for sure....I never liked the blaring drums on ketron KBs that Ive owned......I like the tight balanced overall of the Yamaha arranger sound.....I'll duck now

I gotta say that Yamaha drums are too polished and clean, but by adding some ambience effect + compressor they come out very decent. Unlike Roland and Korg, the Tyros has plenty of effects sections allowing for such a luxury.

What effects does the yamaha have that can be applied to a drum kit that the Korg does not ? I have owned yamaha keyboards amnd currently have the Korg PA1X.
