I just wish the style designers would really listen and correct the styles and or hire someone that can make the Real Mexican/SouthAmerican styles, they are way off on that.
Do not take me wrong, I have own Yamaha products for almost 35 Years, and they have very talented designers, BUT, that does not mean that they can make them correctly, they do not know the nuances and correct instrumentation, you need to know this music to appreciate what is good and what is NOT.

All their "new" cumbias are not accurate in the musical phrasing and instrumentation, and the styles that are already on the keyboards like Norteno, they merged the Mariachi trumpets (No Norteño band had ever had them, check in You tube Tigres del Norte, Ramon Ayala, etc), their MexicanDance is an insult, castanets from Spain and the tambourine, until now no mariachi ever had them or have them.

Check our new web site and see/hear the difference, I know, this basically concern more the musicians that play this music, that is why other manufacturers have the edge.

For the moment our styles are only available for the current Korg PA2X,800,500 & 588.

I would like to have access to the Yamaha´s proprietary software to have access to ALL the parameters to make styles with factory quality, by the way, the interviewee did not mention that, the few features included on the keyboard, are not suitable, that is why none of their style designers makes them on the boards.

If Yamaha could make some good regional Mexican and tropical Latin styles they would sell like hot tortillas.
