Some time ago there was a thread I think about some using an Ipod for performance.

I have purchased an Iphone to use as backing
for my vocals should my keyboard fail during a concert.

Unfortunately I have not been able to get it to play a song and stop till I am ready to proceed with the next item.

Is there a app that will allow me to do this or is there any way I can programme the Iphone to do this.

Not 100% sure about the iPhone, but if it's running iTunes, you have to create a Playlist for each tune. iTunes will keep playing on to the next song if there IS a next song. But a playlist of one will stop (as long as you don't have repeat enabled).

I know it's a PITA, but that's about all I can think of....

Maybe someone has a better solution?

And, just a thought, but is there a way to lock out the phone functions? You would probably HATE a performance interrupted, because someone called you up during the show!

Get an I-touch, it has the same functions except the telephone... I own one, and besides to have lots of music for some breaks that I take in certain places that is a must to keep music continuously. I can write "stickies" or notes to myself, tons useful apps.

It also syncs with my Ical(gig calender) in my I mac, it works Great!!!.

That's because it doesn't do that.
You have only 3 options. Repeat all, Play All, Repeat 1.

I have down loaded an app BackTrax and it is adequate as it allows me to do what I want.

I have a Samsung Moment ( DROID OS )
Unfortunately using the default player I also have not been able to get it to PLAY a song and STOP after a song until I am ready to proceed with the next tune.

Is there a Droid App that will allow me to do this or is there any way I can program the MOMENT to do this?
