I'd say, if Ketron won't do it, first guy that gets the DVD puts it up on a Torrent site. Then hosting is shared, no servers crash, and you ought to get fairly decent d/l times on broadband...

Just make sure whoever posts it gets a checksum from the file, and posts that zipped up with the file. We don't want a repeat of Tony's odyssey...

I just downloaded 4.0 and will install today.

I'll post some info once it's installed and I've had time to check out what the changes are.

Tony has not posted in a week or so because he was criticized. He is still posting on the SZ Ketron forum.

I don't believe I will upgrade until I get the sounds and styles. Those are the main reasons I want the upgrade.
I guess after all this waiting and after this big announcement I can wait some more. It is getting pretty old though.

Tony was criticized quite justifiably here at SZ. He made this forum his punching bag for months, and now doesn't even have the decency to come here and as vocally as he slammed the Audya, retract his opinions and let us know how happy he is with it now. Which of course lets Leezone run rampant with no counter-argument (other than DonM, which for some reason Lee doesn't pay any attention too).

Same thing happened about the OS reinstall issue... Tony was totally fixated on the issues he had, but when he finally took the advice that he had insultingly dismissed when offered here, and they actually CURED his problem, he never posted word one about it here, simply at the Ketron forum.

Quite cowardly and shameful, IMO. One should be a man about things and admit when you are wrong, and admit when something you whined about for months finally IS fixed, rather than leaving this forum with nothing but scathing posts on the issue...

Diki, although I agree with you in principle, I'm not sure those sentiments should be aired in a post, especially if the object of the criticism is not actively posting at the time. This is JMO, nothing more. Truth is, I think Tony finally started to recognize the extent of the displeasure from many SZ'ers and decided to chill for awhile. If that's the case, then I have to applaud him. JMO. JMO. JMO.

Basically, anyone coming here to get some information about the Audya is going to walk away with just the ONE impression, and that is false, misguided and out of date. The onus is on the OP to make the correction, IMO...

You don't understand. He has quit posting and quit reading on this forum. Whether you agree with him or not, that is his choice.
I brought my Audya home tonight. Maybe I will install the new OS tomorrow.
