Warning: folk song and it's guitar/vocal

If anyone here can handle a singer-songwriter, folk song... please let me know if you find merit in this song or if you have any comments whatsoever. I wrote this in the past 24 hours.

Taylor baritone 8-string, yet strung with 13-58's with .11 and .09 octave strings, so that I can tune it D to D. Using cut capo on 2nd fret. Got that? Haha... A minor is what it is.

Recorded "live," one track into Zoom H4, using onboard stereo mics, tweaked in Kristal. (Rough demo)

I'm not sure if I like the song, but the recording is excellent. Balance between guitar and vocals is perfect, it's very clean and crisp. Great job.

Nice tune and good recording. I am especially impressed that you wrote, recorded and posted your song in the course of a day.

I have always been envious of guitarists/ singers. There is something that is so intimate with guitar and voice. Also you can create music anywhere- a street corner, a small house party, around a camp fire…. all without the hassle of lugging around tons of gear!
